The Angel on My Shoulder group has numerous offerings for Camp Angel and Camp Teen Angel coming up this summer! Go to angelonmyshoulder.org or email them at info@angelonmyshoulder.org or call them at 800-860-3441 for mor information! We have had some families do these camps in the past and they can be great! I believe they cover the costs for the event as well!

We have worked with the Green Bay Chapter of the Acoustic Neuroma Association for years now. They hold two meetings a year. For those of you with Acoustic Neuromas, this may be of interest. Their next meeting will be on Saturday, November 7th, 2009 at 10 am. They will meet at Northern Lights Clinic, 2353 South Ridge Road, Green Bay. Dr. Douglas Liepert will speak on hearing loss and helpful solutions, including BAHA (bone anchored hearing appliance) for one sided deafness. Cathleen Brueckner, a doctor of audiology, will speak as well. Feel free to bring a snack to share. The meeting is free and open to all. For more information or questions, call Audrey Laskowski at 920-822-5635.
While we have frequent discussions at our monthly meetings about brain tumor treatment, we have not had an organized overview for some time. I will be presenting to the group and public at our next support group meeting on November 19th at 6pm. Please feel free to invite your family and friends. Hope to see you all then!
