The Fox Valley Brain Tumor Coalition puts on a great party the Saturday after Labor Day every year on the grounds of Neuro-Spine Center of Wisconsin. A celebration of those fighting brain tumors and remembering those who have lost their battle, the Journey of Hope event is our major fundraiser of the year and provides most of the funds that we need to survive. This event is critical to the success of this group, so we hope you can join us!
All of our staff are volunteers and we have an extremely low overhead to operate. Donations stay in the Fox Valley area and are used to assist brain tumor patients with medical bills.

We are always in need of items for the silent auction. If you have something to donate, please drop it off at the front desk of NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin as soon as possible!
Your registration cost of $10 (yes still only $10 after all these years!!!) includes a great t-shirt with all of our corporate sponsors proudly displayed, lunch and all the fun you can handle!
Once registered you can create your own personal or team fundraising page. Registered walkers who raise over $100 are entered in the drawing for a chance to win great prizes!
Preregistration is greatly appreciated as it allows us to best prepare for a great day. However, if you didn’t register online by 5pm on Friday prior to the event, we would still love you have you on Saturday!
Day of the Event
We will hold the event rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather, we will announce plans online and via Facebook. Like us on Facebook to get your update!!
Check out our huge silent auction while kids play in the giant inflatables, do activities or games, get balloons from the clown, and much more!
9:00am: On-site registration opens. We accept cash, check, credit and debit, but not American Express.
10:00am: Opening ceremony at the Tree of Hope with emcee Bill Jartz. The non-competitive walk starts by honoring those who have lost their battle, with testimonials from those most affected by this disease.
10:30am: Journey of Hope Walk begins. Our paved, wheelchair accessible, 1/2 mile trail is short enough for nearly everyone to make at least one lap around. For those who like more of a challenge, we encourage as many laps as you are able to do! As always, dogs are welcome, but should always be on a leash… we will provide water for our four legged friends!
10:30-10:40am ThedaStar Helicopter lands (tentative)
11:00am: Lunch is served. Once you have built up your appetite from the walk, come in to our party tent for a great home-cooked picnic. Vegetarian selections are available for those with restricted diets.
12:00 noon: Prizes for top fund raisers are announced
12:15: Live auction
12:30: Silent auction ends
1:00pm: break down tables, chairs, clean up
